I’m a healthy Rio Grande red-eared slider turtle and approximately 9 years old, and I am available for adoption. My kind are from the Rio Grande area of Texas and I am more colorfully marked than common red-eared sliders. While I am pretty, I am not as people-friendly as some of the other turtles. I would like to be with an adult who can give me lots of attention and gentle handling.

I’m not fond of greens but I eat turtle food well. I really enjoy my shrimp treats! I’ll need a 55-gallon or larger aquarium, with a strong filter, heat and UVB lighting, and a basking spot. Debbie at Dancing Turtle can assist you with setup options.
